With its golden brown sunburst top and vintage styling, the Gold Label 714e SB offers a rich blend of boldness and expressive acoustic tones. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides are paired with a roasted Sitka spruce top on a Super Auditorium body, which is slightly longer and has a wider lower section than Taylor's iconic Grand Auditorium body shape. This model delivers an open and expansive sound characterized by deep bass, rich treble, blooming overtones, and a broken-in character right out of the box. The fanned V-Class™ bracing contributes to an exceptionally warm, resonant, and powerful tone. A slim Action Control™ long-tenon neck provides a comfortable playing experience while allowing for quick and easy string height adjustments. Design elements exclusive to the Gold Label collection include a distinctively shaped pickguard and a modified angled headstock with a script-style Taylor logo. Other components include a Honduran rosewood "rounded wing" style bridge with Indian rosewood bridge pins and a "Firestripe" pattern pickguard, as well as a cream-colored rosette, binding, and Crest fretboard inlays, all complementing a high-gloss body finish. Equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and nickel Taylor tuning machines, the Gold Label 714e SB comes with a high-quality Taylor hardshell case in "British cocoa."
