Taylor Next Generation Sapele 314CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar

This updated Grand Auditorium model features the classic tonewood pairing of a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Sapele back and sides, generating a punchy, shimmering midrange with vibrant trebles and a warm, woody low end. Built for maximum versatility, it introduces the revolutionary Long-Tenon Action Control Neck™. This mechanical system allows you to make precise, on-the-fly string height adjustments directly through the soundhole. This design completely eliminates the need for future invasive neck resets while injecting extra low-end resonance into your playing.

Taylor has upgraded its internal voicing architecture with Scalloped V-Class Bracing, carving out mass between the soundhole brace and bridge plate. This allows the top to flex more freely, yielding a significantly thicker midrange and deeper body resonance without sacrificing the volume, sustain, and pinpoint intonation that V-Class is famous for. Stage performance gets a massive upgrade too, swapping out the older ES2 electronics for the all-new Claria System. This under-saddle piezo system utilizes a discreet soundhole-mounted preamp with an intuitive Mid-Contour control, taming harsh piezo acoustic "quack" and letting you dial in natural, studio-quality tone on the fly. Visually, the 314ce moves to a premium all-gloss body finish and features striking faux pearl Weathervane fingerboard inlays, an Italian acrylic rosette, and a vintage-inspired firestripe pickguard.
