Description
Our used instruments are ex-rentals, serviced and cleaned in our repair shop. Includes, case, mouthpiece, new swab, cork grease. Made in the USA the 7212 clarinet is known and recommended by educators worldwide. These quality clarinets will provide years of use for the beginning player.
- Level: Student, though sometimes considered suitable for intermediate players looking for a durable, weather-resistant instrument (e.g., for marching band).
- Body Material: High-impact ABS resin (plastic), also known as "Reso-Tone," whose density is engineered to mimic wood in its sound and withstand rigorous student use and temperature changes.
- Bore: A large cylindrical bore of .584 inches (14.83 mm), which makes the instrument free-blowing and responsive, helping students to easily achieve a big, controlled sound.
- Key System: Boehm (17 keys, 6 rings).
- Key Material/Finish: Nickel-plated nickel silver keys that are strong and resistant to bending, with a design that fits well under a young player's fingers.
- Tone Holes: Undercut for improved intonation and tone.
- P.R.A.G. (Positive Radial Alignment Guide): A patented feature that ensures proper alignment of the upper and lower joints during assembly, preventing damage to the bridge mechanism.
