Melos Violin Rosins are produced in two types, light & dark.
The light rosin is used more in higher temperatures (spring or summer) for "smooth" playing or solos in chamber music.
The dark rosin is used more in lower temperatures (autumn or winter) for full-tone playing (orchestral) or for solo concerts.
