Description
The California Deluxe Kingman™ Bass CE is a cutaway acoustic bass for players who want real acoustic low end without giving up stage readiness. Its 30" short scale and slim "C" mahogany neck make it easy to play for guitarists and bassists alike, and the cutaway opens up the upper register for melodic lines.
A Solid mahogany top over laminated mahogany back and sides, with scalloped X-bracing, gives it a warm, earthy voice that is full in the mids, smooth on top and punchy. A Micarta nut and saddle, open-gear tuners and phosphor bronze strings round out the acoustic side, and a Fishman® CD-1 preamp with built-in tuner and phase control makes it ready to plug in. This one is finished in Natural Mahogany with a walnut fingerboard and a tortoiseshell pickguard.
