Description
The American Professional Hot Shot Telecaster® takes Fender’s working-player Tele a step further: a V-Mod III Stratocaster® single-coil sits between the two V-Mod III Tele pickups, and a five-way switch opens up Strat-style in-between sounds alongside the classic Tele ones. A push-push tone control adds the neck pickup for more combinations.
The Deep "C" neck has rolled fingerboard edges, a satin “Super-Natural” finish and a newly sculpted heel for easy access to the upper frets, with a bone nut and 22 narrow-tall frets. The new three-saddle bridge can be strung through the body or top-loaded, and its ClassicGear™ compensated brass saddles keep the classic tone while improving intonation. ClassicGear™ Precision™ potentiometers give smooth, even control.
This one is finished in Butterscotch Blonde over ash with a maple fingerboard and a 1-ply black pickguard. A deluxe molded hardshell case is included.
