Description
The American Professional Precision Bass® V is the five-string version of Fender’s working-player P Bass. A V-Mod III split-coil pickup delivers the punch and growl the Precision is known for with added articulation and a solid low B, through a simple master volume and tone.
The Modified 1963 "C" neck has rolled fingerboard edges, a satin “Super-Natural” finish and a newly sculpted heel for easy access to the upper frets, with a bone nut and 20 narrow-tall frets. The five-saddle HiMass™ Pro bridge can be strung through the body or top-loaded and adds sustain, lightweight vintage-style tuners with tapered shafts keep the balance right, and ClassicGear™ Precision™ potentiometers give smooth, even control.
This one is finished in Olympic White over alder with a rosewood fingerboard and a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard. A deluxe molded hardshell case is included.
