Friedman Buxom Boost Pedal

The Friedman Buxom Boost is an exceptionally clean, high-headroom utility pedal designed to unlock the absolute maximum potential from your guitar rig. Mirroring the pristine performance of its namesake amp head, it pushes a highly pure signal to deliver up to +20dB of clean volume gain—perfect for soaring above a heavy live mix, driving a tube amplifier's front end into rich harmonic overdrive, or balancing different guitar outputs. What truly sets this booster apart is its dual-mode versatility: with the flip of a toggle switch, you can bypass the entire active tone-shaping circuit for total transparency or engage a sophisticated 3-band EQ and specialized "Tight" control to perfectly carve your signature sound.

• Circuit Type: High-headroom analog clean booster (up to +20dB clean gain)
• Operational Modes: Dual operation modes via a dedicated EQ Bypass mini-toggle switch (EQ Active / EQ Bypassed for total transparency)
• EQ Controls: Active 3-Band layout featuring passive Boost-only Mid and Bass controls, paired with a center-indented Boost/Cut Treble control
• Tight Control: High-pass sweep control that rolls off sub-bass frequencies to prevent low-end muddy buildup or "farting out" when heavily pushing a tube amp
• Bypass: True Bypass switching
• Noise Floor: Ultra-quiet, low-noise circuitry optimized to support acoustic-electric instruments and clean tracking layouts
• Input / Output Connectors: 1 x 1/4" Mono Input, 1 x 1/4" Mono Output
• Power Requirements: Accepts standard 9V DC or 18V DC center-negative power supply (no internal battery option); 18V operation is highly recommended for maximum clean headroom and dynamics
• Current Draw: Approximately 100 mA
