Description
The Tone Master® ’59 Twin® JB Edition is Fender’s first signature Tone Master amplifier, developed with Joe Bonamassa around the late-1950s high-powered tweed Twins that have been at the centre of his live and studio sound. Tone Master digital modelling recreates the 5F8-A circuit behind those amps, so you get the big, punchy cleans and the thick overdrive they are known for when pushed, from a 2x12 combo that weighs only 30 lb.
An original high-powered Twin is too loud for most rooms. Here, a six-position output power selector takes the amp from its full 85 watts down to 0.5 watts, so the same feel and breakup work at home, in the studio or on stage. Two 12-inch Celestion® JB neodymium speakers, voiced to Joe’s specifications, keep the weight down, and modern additions — convolution spring reverb, an effects loop and a balanced XLR line out with three impulse-response cabinet simulations — make it simple to record or run straight to the PA.
