The Maia 8 features a solid mango top paired with laminate rosewood back and sides, along with a gloss black headstock, scalloped cutaway, and elegant binding. Designed for eight string baritone tuning (DgGgBBEE, with a low-D, a high-G, and double course B and E.), the Maia 8 feels familiar yet fresh, offering the resonance of a small tenor guitar with the playability of a baritone ukulele. And when it’s time to amplify, the active Double C1U pickup is ready to shine on stage or in the studio.
