Paul Reed Smith PRS-MC-58 Electric Guitar (Used)
Description
The story of the MC-58 begins with Paul Reed Smith’s fascination with the golden era of guitar building, considered by many to have been in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. During this time, Ted McCarty was a pioneer of the industry. He served as president of the Gibson Guitar Corporation from 1950-1966 and was responsible for a number of patents and innovations including the humbucking pickup, Explorer, Flying V, SG, and Firebird to name a few.
The McCarty 58 is a testament to a time of true quality and innovation. Made in the USA and featuring a lovely flamed maple top in a gloss flame-red finish, this 2016 model has a mahogany body and set neck, natural maple body edging, and a bound rosewood fingerboard with abalone bird inlays. Equipped with the proprietary 57/08 humbucking pickups, PRS stoptail bridge and locking tuners, this guitar is sure to turn some heads. Our experts consider it to be in excellent condition with only a small mark on the back of the neck from normal play. It also includes the original paisley hard-shell case (w/ case candy). It really doesn't get much better than this folks.
