Description
The Yamaha PACP11SM Pacifica Professional is the maple-fingerboard counterpart to the PACP11S, offering the same elite Japanese craftsmanship with a brighter tone and snappier attack. Built with a chambered alder body and engineered using Yamaha’s Acoustic Design technology, it maximizes resonance and vibration for a highly responsive feel.
This model features Reflectone™ pickups, co-developed with Rupert Neve Designs, delivering exceptional clarity across an S-H (Single-coil/Humbucker) configuration. To ensure a "broken-in" feel from day one, it undergoes Yamaha's proprietary Initial Response Acceleration (I.R.A.) treatment, which settles the wood's internal stresses to enhance sustain and tonal consistency.
- Maple Fingerboard: Provides a bright, articulate response and a smooth playing surface that complements the custom-tinted satin-finished maple neck.
- Reflectone™ Pickups (S-H): A Reflectone HT7b single-coil at the bridge and an EH7n humbucker at the neck provide a wide tonal range from vintage twang to modern rock textures.
- Passive Focus Switch: The push-pull tone knob activates a passive mid-boost on the bridge pickup, delivering a tighter, more forward sound similar to an overwound pickup.
- Compound Radius Neck: A 9.5”–12” radius allows for comfortable chording at the lower frets and easy, buzz-free string bending higher up.
- Premium Hardware: Equipped with Gotoh locking tuners and a Gotoh BC-TS1S bridge with three compensated brass "In-Tune" saddles for superior intonation.
- Stainless Steel Frets: Includes 22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets that are all but impervious to wear and provide an ultra-smooth bending surface.
- Japanese Craftsmanship: Meticulously crafted in Japan and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity and a premium hardshell case.
