1965 Fender Stratocaster Lake Placid Blue USED/VINTAGE
Description
1965 Fender Stratocaster - Lake Placid Blue
-1965 was a transitional year for Fender with the sale to the Columbia Broadcasting System. Instruments from this period still largely retain Leo's original design features before wholesale changes came about in the later 60s. This beautiful Lake Placid Blue strat retains the smaller headstock shape, brazilian rosewood fingerboard and early 60s tuners while receiving small updates including white 3 ply pickguard, gold logo and the new "F" stamp logo boldy stamped on the neckplate.
