Handcrafted on Vancouver Island by luthier Steve Doreen of Lone Tree Guitars & Ukuleles, this OO-sized acoustic is a masterclass in tonewood pairing and thoughtful design. Built in the Cowichan Valley with locally sourced materials wherever possible, Doreen’s guitars blend West Coast craftsmanship with a unique tonal voice that rewards both player and listener.
This OO model features a resonant redwood top—lightweight, responsive, and rich in overtones—paired with Indian laurel back and sides for a balanced, full-bodied sound with smooth midrange warmth. Maple binding adds visual elegance while enhancing structural integrity, and a Pau Ferro fretboard and bridge provide a glassy playing surface with crisp articulation.
