Description
The Beetronics Royal Jelly is an overdrive and fuzz blender. It runs an overdrive circuit and a fuzz circuit side by side, so you can use either one alone or mix them together in any proportion for tones that neither could reach by itself. This one wears the silver enclosure with the black faceplate.
Two blend presets, Queen and King, let you store two different overdrive/fuzz mixes and swap between them with a stomp. Because the pedal crossfades levels rather than switching circuits, the change between them sounds natural. A Dry control blends your clean signal back in, which is great for bass, synths and studio work, or for clean tones with a fuzzy edge on guitar. Hi and Lo controls give 10 dB of cut or boost each, and the Buzz switch adds the raspy top end of a vintage fuzz.
