We have lots of instruments in stock and we will not run out of most types, however by coming in early you will get the best selection of our used instruments.
When visiting Tapestry for your school band instrument this fall, please be aware that we will be assisting hundreds of families get started in music with rentals and lessons in September. You can avoid the rush by either coming in August or before 3pm on week days. If you can avoid bringing extra family members it does help alleviate the congestion in the store. Thanks!

Tapestry Music offers a competitive rent to own program for band instruments, violins, digital pianos, guitars and amplifiers. We also offer daily/weekend rental rates for PA/Sound systems.
Tapestry Music is recommended by local band teachers for beginning band rentals and purchases. Why? Because we have the most flexible rental program in the lower mainland. We only carry quality band instruments with brands that BC teachers know and recommend. And we back up our instruments with our in-store repair shop.
We are authorized dealers for:
Armstrong, Bach, Bliss, Buffet, Conn, Dixon, Eastman, Fender, Gemeinhardt, Getzen, Holton, Keilwerth, King, Leblanc, Ludwig, Network, Selmer, Yamaha (keyboards, digital pianos, guitars, drums)
We have two options available:
1) Purchase with a Buy Back Guarantee (Our best value and risk free)
With our Buy Back Program, you'll get our best cash price and if you need to return or exchange your instrument later, we'll refund your money less the monthly rent applicable for the time you've had the instrument. Or...
With our Rent To Own Program, 100% of your rental payments can apply towards eventually owning your instrument. There is no obligation to rent to own, but as long as you are renting from Tapestry we will always apply your payments towards purchase if you wish with no time limit like some of our competitors.
Plus, anytime you want to buy out your instrument, we will deduct 25% from your existing balance (rent to own price minus payments to date). If you need to exchange instruments later, your rental credit will also transfer over to the next instrument. (Applicable only to instruments listed in our rental program brochure). Monthly and yearly rates are available (paying for a school year in advance saves you 15%!).
We also have a separate rent to own program for guitars and amplifiers including Fender and Yamaha. Drop in for a brochure!
